Week One Hundred
Today, I think of fellow poet and native Clevelander, Mary Oliver. I am blessed to have known her for a short time. The source of her inspiration surrounds me. I went to Spencer Lake on November 19, 2018. I filmed this scene at 11:50 a.m. Rain misted the touch of cool air. My hand slightly shook holding a camera. Swans gathered. At first a few and then more. The date, time and place became insignificant. Awake. I stood in the midst of beauty. Unforgettable.
