Week Thirty Eight

Friday Night Revival is brought to you
courtesty of my best friend's son this week.
The only guidance I gave him was to
find happy music and play it :-)

I am mourning a loss & will return next week.  This last
song reminds me of my Aunt so I play it in her memory:

Week Thirty Five

What this song means to me ~ this song is in no way intended to be personally taken by anyone or draw divisions. To me, this song means a united and peaceful world is an action. That's all. I believe there is a future and love for everyone...Noone gets left behind overall though the quality of today & our future is a choice...

No ho, ho, ho's here!!! last week the music of Alexander Scriabin was shared here due to the correlation of his own poems to Dante's...Scriabin's poems accompany each piece of music.  The fourth poem Ecstasy is an exultation of the creative process and not physical in my interpretation.   Thankfully, God's more forgiving than humans & judges upon expiration date :-)

Week Thirty Three

Tom Petty & my sister's Bitchin' Red Camaro ~ the two once ran wild together cruising city streets & today forever play on.  As an American storyteller, Petty sits right next to Dylan in the driver's seat...

Week Thirty Two

for my loud little trumpet child:

 O, wonder!
How many goodly creatures are there here!
How beauteous mankind is! O brave new world,

That has such people in't!

Week Thirty One

This is not the apocalypse.  Life.  Now is the time.

Now is the time to open the doors of opportunity to all of God's children.

Week Twenty Two

Throwback to Week Two's Playlist
Each year, 800,000 people commit suicide. Chester Bennington of Linkin Park passed away this week from an apparent suicide.

Depression knows no boundaries and affects people from all walks of life.

If you or someone you know are depressed or contemplating suicide, seek help. In this moment, life may seem very dark and without possibility, but there are options & there can be better days ahead in time once you take the first step & seek help.

Here are some resources to get help...

If you are in a crisis and need immediate help:

Contemplating Suicide?
Call the toll-free, 24-hour hotline of the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-TALK (1-800-273-8255) to be connected to a trained counselor at a suicide crisis center nearest you.

Depression or Other Mental Illnesses:

Reach out to friends, family, a spiritual adviser and / or therapist ~ there is a place in the world for you even if you can't see it in this moment. You'll find it...so stick around.
